Ulrike Leiss
Ulrike Leiss is a Clinical Psychologist, specialized in the field of pediatric and adolescent psycho-oncology and pediatric neuropsychology. She is working at the Pediatric and Adolescent Braintumor Center Vienna (Comprehensive Center for Pediatrics of the Medical University of Vienna MUV) as clinician and researcher since 2001, both in the field of inpatient psychosocial care and in follow-up care. She is teaching at the MUV on the topics of medical communication and clinical psychology. Ulrike is lead of the COPEgroup (psychosocial care and research group of the Braintumor Center Vienna). Her care & research focus are (neuro-) psychological intervention methods, (neuro-) psychological outcome and follow up care, education and career support, Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE), guideline development and implementation. She is a member of the Steering Committee of the SIOPE Psychosocial Working Group and SIOPe Palliative Care Group, and Member of national psychosocial working groups.
